Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT)

A majority of WYDOT's budget and efforts go toward planning, building and maintaining the 6,800 miles of highway that connect Wyoming's communities and surrounding states. Consulting with WYDOT before undertaking major transportation projects in Wyoming would be beneficial. Also, it is worth noting that when the Department of Transportation does a project on a highway going through a town, a certain percentage of the project must be used for beautification projects. This information should be kept handy if any highway projects are done through a Wyoming town.
